Envoy hails Saudi-Jordanian Relations 2 Amman

The Saudi ambassador pointed out that Kuwait Economic Summit has laid
the foundation for effective Arab cooperation.


"This summit was convened at a time when the world was facing a
serious economic and financial crisis," he said, adding that the
resolutions of the Summit would meet aspirations of the Arab citizens
and paved the way for the establishment of Arab Common Market.


On the Gulf cooperation, he said the Kingdom is keen on supporting
the joint Gulf works and developing relations with the GCC member
states and forging consultations on current problems.


"The GCC has been working to enhance the sense of citizenship and
establishing a Gulf Market for the service of the citizens," he said.


As regards Doha summit, he said it was successful and the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia exerted intensive efforts to clear the atmosphere and
realize Arab solidarity for confronting challenges facing Arab and
Muslim world.


The ambassador reiterated that the Kingdom will spare no effort in
enhancing cooperation and integration without intervention in the
domestic affairs.
