Iran-Venezuela sign 9 cooperation documents

Tehran, April 5 , IRNA

At the end of President Chavez visit to Iran, the two countries
signed nine cooperation documents in different economic and
development fields.

The documents which were signed in the presence of both presidents
were in the fields of mine, agriculture, foreign affairs, energy,
engineering and technical services, refinery services, technology
transfer in the sectors of production of medicine .
A Memorandum of Understanding on establishment of a joint company for
extraction and discovery of minerals, an MoU on research cooperation
and technology development, an MoU on roadmap between Iran and
Venezuela, as well as an MoU on eliminating visa between the two
governments were among the documents.
Also other MoUs were signed before both presidents held the 7th energy
committee of Iran? Venezuela, contracts on engineering and technical
services, gas refinery management, technology transferring on building
industrial units for production of medicine as well as technical
studies for a Venezuelan oil region.
President Hugo Chavez heading a high ranking politico-economic
delegation arrived in Tehran last Wednesday and departed the country
on Saturday evening.
