N. Korea attempted a satellite launch: Seoul minister
SEOUL, April 5 (Yonhap) -- South Korean Foreign Minister Yu Myung-hwan said Sunday that North Korea seemed to have sought to place a satellite into orbit through its rocket launch, but it still remains unclear whether the launch was successful.
"For now, North Korea appears to have attempted a satellite launch, but
additional assessment is needed to conclude whether it was a success or not," Yu
told reporters after a series of phone talks with his American, Chinese, and
Japanese counterparts.
