Islamic Affairs Minister Receives Kazakhstan's Official

Riyadh, April 06, SPA -- The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments,
Call and Guidance, Sheikh Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al Al-Sheikh received
here on Sunday Special Envoy of Kazakhstan's President and Deputy
Chairman of Parliament's Committee for International Cooperation Adel
Akhmetov currently on a visit to Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, Akhmetov handed over Sheikh Saleh an invitation
from Kazakhstan's Speaker of Parliament for the participation of the
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al
Saud in the Conference of Leaders of 'Followers of Divine Religions'
due to be held in Astana, Kazakhstan in July.


The meeting was attended by Kazakhstan's Ambassador to the Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia Kairat Lama Sherif.


In a press statement, Akhmetov stressed his country's strong support
for all the initiatives launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in the field of dialogue
between followers of different religions and civilizations.
