Jeju Air to offer flights to Bangkok

By Nam Kwang-sik

SEOUL, April 7 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's top budget carrier Jeju Air Co. said Tuesday it plans to provide regular flights to Bangkok, Thailand, in an effort to broaden its earning base.

Jeju Air said it will offer two weekly flights on the route between Incheon,
South Korea's main gateway, and Bangkok, starting Friday. The number of flights
will be raised to four from late June, it added.
The launch of flights to Bangkok comes after the low-cost carrier opened its
first overseas route between Incheon and the Japanese cities of Osaka and
Kitakyushu on March 20.
Jeju Air plans to expand its destinations to 13 cities in five Asian and
Southeast Asian countries until 2013.
