HRH Premier's edict renaming youth, sports body

Manama, Sept. 25 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa issued Edict 22/2019 renaming the administrative body and the minister concerned with youth, sports bodies and athletic activities. The Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs has been designated as the administrative authority in charge of youth, sports bodies and athletic activities stipulated in the Law of Societies, Social and Cultural Clubs issued by Law Decree 21/1989, the ministry assumes its jurisdictions as stipulated in the law. The Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs has been designated as the minister concerned with youth, sports bodies and athletic activities stipulated in the aforesaid law, and the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs assumes the specified jurisdictions as per the law, effective from the next day following the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
