Tennis: Osaka beats Andreescu in China Open

Japanese player Naomi Osaka beat Bianca Andreescu from Canada to advance to the quarter-finals of the China Open in Beijing on Friday. World number four Osaka beat number five seed Bianca Andreescu 5-7, 6-3 and 6-4 in two hours and 14 minutes. Osaka ended Andreescu's 17-match-winning streak with this victory, as they have battled each other on court for the first time. Osaka and Andreescu both have one U.S. Open championship in their early careers.
