S. Korea's FIFA ranking edges down to 45th
SEOUL, April 8 (Yonhap) -- South Korea fell one notch in the world men's football rankings for April released by FIFA on Wednesday, although the country obtained 23 more points than in the previous month.
South Korea took 45th place, down from 44th in March. It was the third-highest
ranking in Asia, following Australia in 32nd and Japan in 35th place.
North Korea ranked 104th, up three notches from March.
In the official list of 201 nations on FIFA's Web site, the "Invincible Armada"
of Spain kept its top position for the 10th month in a row, followed by Germany
and the Netherlands.
