AGFUND and DSCA to help Down Syndrome-affected Children
Riyadh, April 11, SPA -- Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, President of the
Arab Gulf Program for United Nations Development Organization
(AGFUND) has signed recently a cooperation agreement for the benefit
of the Down Syndrome Charitable Association (DSCA) for the
rehabilitation of teaching staff and development of the DSCA
curriculum to enable DSCA to be a reference in the field of
rehabilitation of children suffering from Down's syndrome.
The signed AGFUND-DSCA Project agreement includes provision of
training national cadres to be introduced to the latest methods and
techniques in rehabilitating people with mental retardation.
