OIC Chief receives New German Ambassador

Jeddah, April 12, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Organization of
the Islamic Conference (OIC), Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu received
yesterday at his office here, Vollkmar Karl Wenzel, Ambassador of
Germany to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.


The German Ambassador expressed his appreciation of the work and
activities undertaken by the OIC.

He also commended the role played by the OIC Secretary General in
promoting dialogue and cooperation with the international community.


The German ambassador expressed his country's desire to further
strengthen cooperation and relations with the OIC in areas of common
interest.
