Saudi Aramco hailed for setting up Intelligent Field Tech-Centers 2 MANAMA

On his part, Ali S. Muallem, General Supervisor from Southern Area
Reservoir Management (of Saudi Aramco), gave a keynote speech at the
workshop, entitled: “Intelligent Fields: The Chain Factor,” which set
the tone for the workshop.


He highlighted the importance of balancing efforts and investments
in Intelligent Fields enablers — namely technologies, processes and
people.


Event chairman Murad F. Barghouty was among the Saudi Aramco
employees who held several active roles in organizing the event,
representing program committee members, session chairpersons, and
discussion leaders who facilitated discussion in subjects ranging
from Intelligent Field architecture and its business impact to data
management and workflow optimization.


By the end of the workshop, participants agreed that extra efforts
have to be spent on collaboration between multi-disciplines and on
the development of required skills, according to a press release of
Saudi Aramco.
