Korea`s largest art house to hold auction in Hong Kong

SEOUL, April 15 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's largest art auction house will hold its
second overseas auction in Hong Kong next month, putting on sale 40 pieces
including a silk print by Andy Warhol, the dealer said on its Web site Wednesday.
Items on offer by Seoul's K-Auction will also include works by the late South
Korean video artist Paik Nam-june, photographer Bae Bien-u and U.S. artist Tom
Wesselmann.
The bidding for Andy Warhol's silk print, titled "Flower," will start at 1.5
million Hong Kong dollars (US$193,500), K-Auction said.
The auction will be held May 15 at the Conrad Hotel in Hong Kong, together with
other foreign art houses including Taiwan's Kingsley, which will display 143
artworks.
K-Auction sold 47 of its 87 offered items in the previous overseas auction in
November last year, earning 20 million Hong Kong dollars.
