STX Europe wins US$113 mln order from Kazakh company

SEOUL, April 17 (Yonhap) -- STX Group, a mid-sized South Korean shipbuilding
group, said Friday its European unit STX Europe ASA has clinched a US$113 million
deal to build three ice-breaker tugs for a Kazakh firm.
The deal with JSC Circle Marine Invest calls on STX Europe, formerly known as
Aker Yards ASA, to deliver the vessels between 2010 and 2011, the group said in a
statement.
