Kumho Tire idles local plants for 3 days on weak demand

SEOUL, April 17 (Yonhap) -- Kumho Tire Co., South Korea's second-largest tiremaker, said Friday it has closed all of its three plants at home for three days in reaction to slowing sales.

Kumho's three plants in South Korea shut down on Friday and will be closed until
Monday to control inventories, the company said in a regulatory filing.
