U.S. Mideast Envoy Mitchell Arrives in Riyadh

Riyadh, April 19, SPA -- U.S. Special Envoy for Middle East, George
Mitchell arrived in Riyadh today on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia.


At Riyadh Air Base Airport, he was received by Minister of State for
Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani; Saudi Ambassador to the
United States of America Adel Al-Jubeir; Chief of Protocol at Foreign
Ministry Ambassador Ala'a Eddin Al-Askari; Commander of Riyadh
Airbase Major General Abdullatif Al-Shurayim; U.S. Chargé D’affaires
David H. Rundell; and a representative of the Royal Protocol.
