Japanese firm to list shares on S. Korean bourse
SEOUL, April 20 (Yonhap) -- Japanese firm Nepro IT Co. said Monday it will list
its shares on South Korea's secondary stock market this week, becoming the first
Japanese company to do so.
The on-line advertising provider will start trading 800,000 shares on the
tech-heavy KOSDAQ market Friday after it gained final permission from the Korea
Exchange last September, the company said in a statement.
The company will seek to support local information-technology firms interested in
venturing into Japan, CEO Kanai Takeshi said.
The Japanese firm's net profit stood at 180 million yen (US$1.82 million) in
fiscal 2007, for when the latest data is available, with sales reaching 1.47
billion yen.
