Al-Aqsa&Al-Quds Funds grant $735 million for Palestine Projects

Jeddah, April 20, SPA -- The Administrative Committee of Al-Aqsa and
Al-Quds Funds allocated in its meeting here today $ 60 million for
development projects in Palestine, including $ 30 million for
projects in the Gaza Strip.


The Committee's Chairman Eng. Yosef bin Ibrahim Al-Bassam expressed
his thanks to and appreciation of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB)
for signing execution contracts worth $ 22 million for projects in
the Gaza Strip, and his thanks to Arab funds for providing $ 170
million for projects undertaken in Palestine by Al-Aqsa Fund over the
past five years.


Al-Bassam pointed out that Al-Aqsa and Al-Quds Funds have spent so
far a total amount of $735 million for developmental projects in
Palestine.
