Elections for the President and members of the Executive

Riyadh, April 20 , SPA -- Elections for the President and members of
the Executive Committee of the Arab Soccer Federation were postponed
for one year, it was announced here today.

In a press statement following the meeting of the federation's
general assembly held in Riyadh today, Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin
Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare and President of the
Arab Soccer Federation, announced that the elections would be held
next year during the federation's meeting in Makkah.

He attributed the reason behind the postponement to an endeavor to
unite ranks among members of the federation.
