South, North Korea end first talks in over a year without breakthrough
SEOUL, April 21 (Yonhap) -- South and North Korea ended their first government
talks in more than a year in under half an hour, Seoul's spokesman said.
The meeting at a joint industrial complex in the North lasted only 22 minutes,
said Unification Ministry spokesman Kim Ho-nyoun.
The talks started at 8:35 p.m. after a delay of more than 12 hours due to a
dispute over procedural details.
