HCM City to invest in road projects

HCM City (VNA) - HCM City will invest around 6 trillion VND (337 million USD) in
185 urban traffic projects, accounting for 54 percent of the total construction
capital for the year, Tran Quang Phuong, head of the city' Department of
Transport, said in an online conference on April 17.


The city had submitted to the Government plans to build two more roundabouts at
the provincial road No 10-HCM City-Trung Luong Speedway and the Tran Dai Nghia
Street-HCM City-Trung Luong Speedway intersections.

Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai has also asked the Ministry of Transport and
local authorities to pursue multiple investment forms for large projects and
ensure more efficient disbursement of funds for transport sector projects.-Enditem
