Lebanese Premier praises UAE's 'continuous support'
Beirut - April 28, 2009 (WAM) - Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Al Siniora received here yesterday UAE Ambassador to Beirut Rahma Hussien Al Zaabi and Abdullah Khalifa Al Gahfli, Deputy Manager of the UAE project for support and reconstruction of Lebanon (PSRL).
Al Siniora praised the continuous support and humanitarian assistance provided by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to the Lebanese people.
During the meeting, Al Siniora was briefed on the humanitarian and development projects implemented by PSRL in Lebanon, including demining efforts and clearance of cluster bombs.
A presentation was also made on the progress of work at the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Hospital in Shab'a.
