Marrybrown Official Cafe Operator For Malaysia Pavilion At Expo 2020 Dubai

KUALA LUMPUR, June 4 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Pavilion has announced that homegrown fast-food chain, Marrybrown will be its café operator for the Expo 2020 Dubai. Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Centre’s (MGTC) chief executive officer, Shamsul Bahar Mohd Nor said Marrybrown will represent one of the best Malaysian brands at the Malaysia Pavilion and will feature Malaysian signature delicacies in its menu. “Malaysia Pavilion is incredibly happy to have Marrybrown as our café operator to represent our Malaysian identity. “Marrybrown is a shining example of a Malaysian business which pioneered fast food chain franchising in Malaysia and went on to successfully spread its wings globally,” he said in a statement Friday. Shamsul added that Marrybrown fittingly represents the Malaysian spirit and the best Malaysian brands at the expo. “With its vision to bring Malaysian favourite dishes to the world, Marrybrown has flown the Malaysian flag high by going global as a brand,” he said. Malaysia is among 192 countries participating in Expo 2020 Dubai, scheduled to be held from Oct 1, 2021 - March 31, 2022. Malaysia’s participation at Expo 2020 Dubai is spearheaded by the Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry and MGTC as the implementing agency. -- BERNAMA
