Waleed Jumblat lauds Saudi support for Lebanon

Beirut, May 11, SPA -- Waleed Jumblat, Leader of the Lebanese House
of Representatives Democratic Meeting, lauded the positive positions
of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in support of Lebanon,
its sovereignty, independence and welfare.

In an interview with the Lebanese Al-Anbaa newspaper to be published
on Tuesday (tomorrow), Jumblat cited the Taif agreement and Saudi
financial, political, logistical and relief assistance to the
Lebanese administrations and peoples without any discrimination.

He drew the attention that the Kingdom was seeking to heal
differences among Arab and Islamic ranks and explore ways for serious
confrontation of the Israeli occupation which still rejects the Arab
peace initiative and the two-state solution.
