S. Korean exports of auto parts slide for 6th month

SEOUL, May 13 (Yonhap) -- South Korean exports of auto parts fell for a sixth
month in April, hit by worsening global demand, data showed Wednesday.

Exports of vehicle parts in April declined 36.2 percent from a year ago to US$890
million, marking the sixth straight monthly fall, according to data by the Korea
Automobile Manufacturers Association.
In the first four months of this year, exports slipped 42.4 percent on-year to
$2.9 billion, the association said.
