Hyundai Rotem consortium wins order in India
SEOUL, May 15 (Yonhap) -- Hyundai Rotem Co., a South Korean train maker, said
Friday its consortium has won an order to supply railcars to India.
The contract calls for the consortium, consisting of Hyundai Rotem, India's
Bharat Earth Movers Ltd. and Japan's Mitsubishi Corp., to deliver 150 electric
railcars worth 440 billion won (US$348 million) by 2013, the South Korean company
said in a statement.
