BOEDIONO COMES AHEAD OF YUDHOYONO FOR MEDICAL TESTS
Jakarta, May 18 (ANTARA) - The Democrat Party's vice presidential candidate, Boediono in the company of his wife Herawati, arrived at 6.45 am at Gatot Subroto Hospital in Jakarta for medical checks-up or
earlier than presidential canditate Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
Boediono had resigned from its position as Governor of Bank Indonesia (the central bank) after being chosen by the Democrat Party its vice presidential candidate as the running mate of presidential hopeful Yudhoyono.
Yudhoyono and Boediono were scheduled to undergo medical checks-up at 7.30 am. The medical tests by a medical team consisting of more than 50 doctors were expected to take place for 10 hours.
Until the news story was released, Yudhoyono had yet to appear at the hospital.
