The vice governor said the Aceh government wished investors from the Middle East could invest in Aceh that has a lot of natural resources for exploitation.

He said Aceh's natural resources had attracted a lot of foreign investors but almost none of them were from Islamic countries in the Middle East.

He said Aceh's majority Moslem population was one of the factors similar with the Middle East countries.

Foreign investors that have expressed interest to invest in Aceh are from Jeju, South Korea, Malaysia and other Asian countries, he said.
