MEGA-PRABOWO CAMPAIGN TEAM HOLDS STRATEGY MEETING

Jakarta, May 22 (ANTARA) - The campaign team of presidential aspirant Megawati Soekarnoputri and her running mate Prabowo Subianto held a strategy meeting on Friday based on directives from the two figures.

The meeting at Megawati's residence on Teuku Umar street in Central Jakarta was attended also by her daughter, Puan Maharani, Greater Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) deputy chairman Fadli Zon, the campaign team's secretary Hasto Kristianto, and Mega-Prabowo media center director Amran Nasution.

"Today's meeting of the main campaign team is on strategy because the participants received directives directly from Megawati and Prabowo," Puan Maharani said.

Also present at the meeting which started at 10 in the morning were three advisers, 24 members of the campaign team, and 13 guests.

Maharani said the meeting was also intended to consolidate the Megawat-Prabwowo ticket's mission and vision, its program to promote a people-oriented economy in particular.

The Mega-Prabowo campaign team is made up of cadres from the Indonesian Democratic Party-Struggle (PDIP), Gerindra, and other parties supporting the Mega-Prabowo duo.

The supporting parties are the Marhaenist National Indonesian Party, Struggle Work Party, Labor Party, Indonesian Nahdlatul Ummah United Party, Indonesia Union Party, Independence Party, and Sovereignty Party.
