Shoura Council Chairman to visit Moscow

Riyadh, May 24, SPA -- The Chairman of Shoura (Consultative) Council
Sheikh Dr.Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh will pay a visit to
Russia on Monday at an invitation of Chairman of Russian Federation
Council Sergei Mironov.

In a statement on this occasion, he said that the visit comes within
the framework of the distinguished relations between the two
countries at political, economic and cultural levels which have been
embodied by the exchange of visits between the Custodian of the Two
Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince on one
hand, and the Russian leadership on the other hand.

Dr. Al Al-Sheikh noted that the visit aims at promoting bilateral
relations and joint cooperation between the two countries
particularly in the field of joint parliamentary cooperation and
coordination at international parliamentary arenas in the interest of
the two countries as well as activating the role of Saudi-Russian
Parliamentary Friendship Committees.
