26 S. Koreans quarantined in China with suspected flu

SHANGHAI, May 25 (Yonhap) -- Twenty-six South Koreans were quarantined in
Shanghai by Chinese health authorities on Monday to be monitored for possible
type-A influenza infections, Korean diplomats here said.

The latest quarantine measure was taken shortly after the South Korean nationals
arrived in Shanghai from Incheon International Airport, west of Seoul, aboard an
Asiana Airlines flight, along with a female Chinese passenger who showed new flu
symptoms at the city's Pudong International Airport, said the diplomats.
The 26 South Koreans included two flight crews and some of the 40 passengers who
were seated around the ailing Chinese woman who transited through Incheon from
the U.S., they said, adding the quarantine is expected to last about a week.
