VP ON WORKING VISITS IN S SUMATRA, LAMPUNG

Palembang, South Sumatra, May 26 (ANTARA) - Vice President M Jusuf Kalla was expected to arrive here Tuesday for working visits in South Sumatra and Lampung provinces.

During his stay in Palembang, Kalla would visit a railway station and chair a meeting on railway revitalization in Sumatra Island.

He was also scheduled to visit a senior high school in Palembang, and later install the JK-Wiranto presidential election campaign team for South Sumatra.

From Palembang, Kalla and his entourage would fly to Lampung Province, southern Sumatra.

In Lampung, Kalla would visit the Tarahan II thermal power plant and the Dr H Abdul Moeloek General Hospital.

Kalla would also install the JK-Wiranto campaign team for Lampung Province.

The vice president is to run for president in the July 8 election with retired general Wiranto as his running mate.
