VEEP DENIES THE GOVERNMENT NOW LACKS COORDINATION

Bandar Lampung, May 26 (ANTARA) - Vice President Jusuf Kalla denied an opinion saying that the government was no longer under good coordination since President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and his vice president decided to compete in the upcoming presidential race on July 8, 2009.

"No" he said while turning down a question from a journalist after a function to install regional campaign teams of Lampung chapter for the Kalla-Wiranto ticket.

As to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's visit to Bandung Tuesday (May 26) to attend National Education Day and his visit to Lampung to inspect some development projects like a coal-fired power plant (PLTU) in Lampung, Kalla said it was natural.

"Indonesia is huge, so we can go to lots of places," he said.

He put an emphasis on the importance of the electricity ratio of the people, and that could be the reason of his visit to Lampung. "Power supply needs to rum smoothly, and I have a commitment to build the infrastructure."
Some ministers and heads of state institutions have now lacked coordination, while some are also members of the campaign team, Kalla said it will be discussed soon.***1***
