BOGOR HAS POTENTIAL TO EXPORT LEATHER PRODUCTS TO HUNGARY

Jakarta, May 29 (ANTARA) - West Java city of Bogor has potential to export its leather industrial products and beverages to Hungary and other countries in Europe, a spokesman said.

Radjab Tampubolon made the statement when contacted here Thursday, adding that Bogor Deputy Mayor Ahmad Ru'yat with his delegation made five-day visit to Godollo city in Hungary and will return to Jakarta on Saturday (May 30).

"In Godollo the Vice Mayor will sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Bogor-Godollo sistership," Tambubolon said.

Under the the MoU, both sides will among others agreed about trade ties implementation, he cited, explaining that Bogor will export the products of leather industry and beverage supplements, which have very good prices in Godollo.

According to him, Bogor's Kadin had provided an inventory of 16 items of industrial products such as leather jackets, men's shoes, women shoes, belts, purses, wallets, cell phone sheath, and so forth. Meanwhile, drinks supplement was such as fruit from the pace, cashew rocks, including orange.

"List of industrial products which will be exported to Godollo already submitted to the city's chamber of commerce and industry chief when he visited Bogor by the end of last year," he said.

Tambubolon said he asked Bogor's vice mayor to rent a shop in the Godollo city that can become a center of sale for Bogor industrial products.

He hoped, after the MoU signing, the acquired store locations, and license can be quickly completed, so that the leather products and beverage supplements from Bogor can be exported to Godollo soon.
