EARTHQUAKE JOLTS AMBON EARLY FRIDAY

Jakarta, May 29 (ANTARA) - An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter Scale jolted Ambon, Maluku, on Friday at 7.58 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB).

The quake's epicenter was located at 3.76 degrees southern latitude, 127.66 degrees eastern longitude, at a depth of 10 km below sea level, around 57 km southwest of Ambon, according to information of the national meteorological and geophysics office, here on Friday.
