KALLA INSTALLS JK-WIN CAMPAIGN TEAM IN PALU

Palu, C Sulawesi, June 5 (ANTARA) - Presidential candidate Jusuf Kalla installed a JK-Win (Jusuf Kalla and his running mate Wiranto) campaign team for Central Sulawesi province here Friday.

The campaign team installation taking place at the Golkar Party provincial chapter office in Jalan Mohammad Hatta Palu, was among others attended by the local Golkar Party chief Aminuddin Ponulele, the People`s Conscience (Hanura) Party, chief Karim Hanggi and Central Sulawesi governor HB Paliudju.

Kalla in his address said the campaign team should work hard considering that Palu and Central Sulawesi are part of the Golkar Party bases.

"I am sure (JK-Win) will gain major votes in this region if Golkar Party and Hanura united," he said.

In the meantime, the regional Golkar party chief Aminuddin Ponulele hoped the JK-Win campaign team to cooperate with other success teams in order to win the Jusuf Kalla- Wiranto ticket in the July 8, 2009 presidential race.

Previously, one of the JK-Win national campaigners, Khaeruddin Ismail (former national police chief) declared the JK-Win campaign team.

On the sidelines of the JK-Win installation, hundreds of the Central Sulawesi youths also declared their supports for JK-Win pair to win the upcoming presidential election.

In Bandung on June 4, Kalla also installed the JK-Win campaign team for West Java, dubbed "West Java Rainbow Voluntary Team." ***1***
