AZERI GRANDMASTER DRAWS WITH RUSSIAN RIVAL

Baku, June 10 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s chess grandmaster Vugar Hashimov has strengthened his hold on the second place in an international tournament in memory of world ex-champion Anatoly Karpov in Surgut, Russia, thanks to a sixth-round draw with Russian Ernesto Inarkiev.
Hashimov now has 4.5 points, falling behind Alexander Motilev only.
