Production of Dairy Products Increases in DPRK

Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) -- Successes have been witnessed in each province, city and county of the DPRK after waging a campaign for increased dairy production. Many stock farms have seen an increase in the number of goats and dairy cows and a rise in the scientific level of breeding them. The capacity of foodstuff factories for producing milk powder and yoghurt increased considerably and milk processing techniques were innovated. As a result, the foundation has been provided for supplying more quality dairy products to children. Currently, each province, city and county are supplying dairy products to children on a regular basis. -0-
