QCA to Host Legends League Cricket Masters

Doha, February 23 (QNA) - Qatar Cricket Association (QCA) completed its preparations to host the 2nd season of the legends League Cricket Masters in Doha Qatar from March 10  to 20, with the participation of  60 cricket players 12 countries.

Eight matches will be played during the tournament at the Asian Town International Cricket Stadium. Legends like Gautam Gambhir, Irfan Pathan, Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Akhtar, Brett Lee, Shane Watson, Chris Gayle, and Lendl Simmons will be in action.

QCA announced that fans can book their  tickets from discover Qatar. Dates of the ticket sales will be announced in QCA social media and discover Qatar platforms.

In a press statement, HE Qatar Cricket Association President Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saoud Al-Thani expressed his happiness for hosting the tournament's 2nd season.

His Excellency said that Qatar is hosting the Cricket Legends Championship for the second season, and it always strives to hold a wonderful tournament.

He added that the committee looks forward to continuing Qatari excellence in organizing tournaments and sporting events after the successful hosting of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, pointing out that the event in Doha will be special. (QNA)
