Amiri Naval Forces Inaugurate Coastal Defense Project 

 

 

Doha, February 23 (QNA) - Under the auspices and presence of HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, and in the presence of HE Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit, the Amiri Naval Forces inaugurated Thursday the coastal defense project at the Umm Al Houl Naval Base.

    The inauguration was attended by HE Commander of the Qatar Amiri Naval Forces Maj. Gen. (Navy) Abdullah bin Hassan Al Sulaiti, HE Ambassador of the French Republic to the State of Qatar Jean-Baptiste Faivre, HE Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the State of Qatar Paolo Toschi, and a number of senior Qatar Armed Forces officers.
