Bulgaria's Grand Mufti Praises Abdullah Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center's Efforts

 
Doha, February 28 (QNA) - The Grand Mufti of the Republic of Bulgaria Mustafa Hadzhi praised the efforts made by the Abdullah Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center in introducing the Islamic culture. This came during Bulgaria's Grand Mufti visit to the Abdullah Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center, where he was briefed on the center's various programs and activities introduced in many different languages to the communities residing in Qatar. He pointed out that the Center's efforts in Islamic Da'wa and its development in the educational means through technical programs and social media platforms that reach different segments and categories of all communities all over the world. The visit also included an introduction to the heritage hall and the introductory hall. He was also briefed on the virtual reality event, which he praised and admired, pointing out its importance in presenting Islam to non-Muslims in a modern way. He also admired providing Arabic language courses for non-Arabic speakers, noting Bulgarian Muslim's need to learn the Arabic language to learn more about their religion. Meanwhile, the Center concluded a course introduced by Abdur-Raheem McCarthy for English-speaking Muslims with the presence of 60 persons. The lecturer talked about the importance of believing in fate and explained the details of this pillar of faith and its significance in the life of Muslims, its effectiveness in their lives, and its behavioral and practical impacts. The women's section held the same program for Urdu-speaking women, with the presence of 34 women. The Center continued to hold its weekly program for the Indonesian community, which benefited 165 women and students in the women's section and 79 fathers and students in the male's section. (QNA)
