Rifle Competition Concludes in Nishan Ooredoo Ramadan Tournament

Doha, April 07 (QNA) - The 10-meter air rifle competition for men was concluded as part of the Nishan Ooredoo Ramadan Shooting Tournament organized by the Qatar Shooting & Archery Association at the Lusail Shooting Range under the auspices of HE President of the Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, and will continue until Tuesday with the participation of more than 300 male and female shooters.
The tournament will continue with the holding of the bow and arrow competition over two days, followed by the shooting competition over two days as well.
The Qatar Shooting & Archery Association has allocated valuable financial prizes for the winners of the first three places in the men’s category, where the first place winner will receive QR 30.000 riyals, the second place will receive QR 25.000, and the third place will receive an amount of QR 20.000.
In the junior category, the first-place winner will receive QR 10,000, the second-place will receive QR 7,500, and the third-place winner will receive QR 5,000.
The Nishan Ooredoo Ramadan Tournament is witnessing many accompanying events, including a padel tournament, a beach volleyball tournament, in addition to activities for children.
The tournament aims to discover young Qatari talents in shooting sports, and to hone their talent to gain experience to support the ranks of the national teams. (QNA)
