Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Sends Invitation to President of Mauritania to Participate in Arab Summit

Nouakchott, May 15, 2023, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has sent a written message to the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Cheikh Mohamed Ahmed Ould Ghazouani. The message includes an invitation for President Ghazouani to participate in the 32nd regular session of the Arab League Council Meeting at the summit level, scheduled to be held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in May this year.
The Saudi Ambassador to Mauritania, Mohammed bin Ayed Al-Balawi, delivered the message during a meeting with President Ghazouani in Nouakchott today.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Saudi Ambassador conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He also expressed their wishes for prosperity and stability for the government and people of Mauritania.
President Ghazouani sent, in turn, his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince, wishing them good health and wellness. He also extended his wishes for steady prosperity and development for the Saudi people.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the fraternal relations between the two countries and ways of developing them.
