Islamic Affairs Ministry Inaugurates Holy Quran Exhibition in Brazil

Foz do Iguacu, May 31, 2023, SPA -- The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by the General Secretariat of Exhibitions and Conferences, yesterday opened the one-week "Holy Quran" exhibition in the Brazilian city of Foz do Iguacu, organized by the ministry in cooperation with the Islamic Call Center for Latin America, in the presence of a number of political and religious figures.
Imam of Omar bin Al-Khattab Mosque Sheikh Osama Al-Zahid, during the ceremony, referred to the attention paid by the Saudi government to Islam and Muslims worldwide.
Acting Director of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Islamic Cultural Centre in Argentina, Ayedh Al-Rabie, reviewed the history of King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran in Madinah.
The Bishop of the Catholic Church in Brazil delivered a speech commending the efforts of the Saudi government in spreading the culture of coexistence among religions and denouncing radicalism.
The exhibition reflects the ministry's active role in spreading moderation and the culture of tolerance, rejecting extremism, and highlighting the Kingdom's efforts in serving Islam and Muslims.
