Al-Rayyan, Al-Wakra Win Matches In HH The Amir Men's Basketball Cup 

Doha, June 03 (QNA) - Al-Rayyan and Al-Wakra basketball teams achieved today great victories in the 24th edition of HH the Amir Men's Basketball Cup for the sports season 2022 - 2023. Al-Rayyan beat Al-Arabi and Al-Wakra defeated Qatar in the second group's final matches. In the first match, Al-Rayyan, the league champion, maintained its chances of qualifying for the semi-finals after defeating Al-Arabi with 91-79, a difference of 12 points. The results of the match were 23-15, 12-25, 19-19, 37-20 for Al-Rayyan. In the second match, Al-Wakra scored its second successive victory and strengthened its chances of qualifying for the semi-finals after overcoming Qatar with 89-81, a difference of 8 points. Its results were 26-18, 19-22, 21-14, 23-27 for Al-Wakra. (QNA)
