Advanced Technology Contributes to Makkah Route Initiative Success in Indonesia

Jakarta, June 12, 2023, SPA -- The use of advanced technology has contributed to successfully carrying out travel procedures for the beneficiaries of Makkah Route Initiative in Indonesia. It made it easy to complete health and travel procedures, their departure and the transportation of their coded luggage.
The Saudi Data and Al Authority (SDAIA) participated in the initiative as a digital enabler by preparing the technical infrastructure in line with the highest international standards and specifications, and developing a set of high-privacy technical systems that are compatible with the requirements of the initiative. The systems include connecting, activating and operating workstations equipped with cutting-edge technology, preparing portable kits with biometric devices and providing backup systems to ensure a smooth workflow.
Makkah Route Initiative is implemented by the Ministry of Interior as part of the Pilgrim Experience Program and the Saudi Vision 2030.
