Qatar To Host The Meeting Of The Group Of Practitioners Of Climate And Disaster Risk Reduction

Doha, June 17 (QNA) - Qatar is set host the meeting of the group of practitioners on climate and disaster risk reduction on Monday, organized by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). The meeting, which will be held from June 19 to 21, is aimed to enhance the ability to deal with disasters and reduce its effects. The meeting falls within the framework of the global efforts made in response to the ramifications of climate change and minimize its threatening effects and risks on humanity, which also includes the efforts of humanitarian organizations.
