OIC Praises UAE and Qatar Decision to Resume Diplomatic Relations

Jeddah, June 19, 2023, SPA -- The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) welcomed the decision of the United Arab Emirates and Qatar to resume the diplomatic relations in implementation of the Al-Ula declaration.
In a press release, the Secretary-General of OIC Hissein Taha praised the decision as it affirms healing rifts between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, contributes to strengthening cooperation and joint integration in the region, and achieves the aspirations of their peoples and fortifying joint Islamic action.
