Ministry of Commerce Oversees Delivery of 69 Million Food Items to Mina on Second Day of Tashreeq

Mina, June 30, 2023, SPA -- The Ministry of Commerce oversaw the delivery of 69.5 million food items for pilgrims in Mina on the second day of Tashreeq, including 37 million dairy and juice packages, 14.2 million baked items, more than 672,000 ready-made meals, more than 17.2 million water bottles, and 336,000 ice molds.
The Ministry ensures the abundance of supplies for the pilgrims throughout the Hajj season while its oversight teams continue to monitor sales outlets and verify the availability of essential commodities and products for pilgrims. They also monitor commercial establishments and carpets in Mina and the central area of the Grand Mosque to verify their compliance with consumer-protection regulations and control any commercial violations.
