GCC Secretary General: Japan is One of the Important Countries for the GCC, with which We Have Relations in Many Fields
Riyadh, July 04, 2023, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, affirmed that Japan is one of the important countries for the GCC states, with which we have relations in many fields, especially economic, trade and investment.
This statement came during the GCC Secretary General’s meeting today with the Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Fumio Iwai, at the headquarters of the GCC General Secretariat in Riyadh.
The GCC Secretary General stated that this meeting comes within the meetings through which the Cooperation Council seeks to strengthen relations and areas of cooperation with friendly countries to serve the common interests of both sides.
He also said that several issues were discussed during the meeting, praising the distinguished relationship between the GCC states and Japan and the desire of both sides to strengthen and develop it in areas of common interest.
