Prince Fahd bin Mansour Heads KSA's Delegation to G20's Official Startup20 Summit in New Delhi

New Delhi, July 06, 2023, SPA -- Prince Fahd bin Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Founder of Entrepreneurship Vision Association, Chairman of Saudi STARTUP20 Group of G20 Startups and Head of Saudi Delegation to the G20 Youth Entrepreneurs Alliance, headed the Kingdom's delegation to the official Startup20 Summit in New Delhi.
In his speech at the summit, Prince Fahd stressed the importance of the Kingdom's participation in the summit as a leading country in the field of entrepreneurship and an enabler of startups under the Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to increase the contribution of SMEs to the GDP from 20% to 35%.
The prince said: "The Kingdom supports India's proposal to establish a $1 trillion Startup20 fund. We can imagine the impact and results that can be achieved from establishing this fund. We are ready to cooperate with Startup20 to provide this opportunity to the Kingdom's most important investors and showcase the best opportunities for startups."
The summit was held with the participation of 29 countries, including 20 members: Saudi Arabia, India, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, Turkiye, the UK, the US and the European Union. Also, nine countries had been invited to the summit: Bangladesh, Egypt, Mauritius, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Oman, Singapore, Spain, and the UAE.
